Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Application Solutions Assistant Manager specializing in Payment Solutions to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our payment processing systems across Asia region. As an Application Solutions Assistant Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and business stakeholders, to deliver innovative payment solutions that meet our customers' needs and drive business growth.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for payment solutions in alignment with the company's goals and customer needs.
  • Develop, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, ensuring that features and enhancements are well-defined and clearly communicated to the development team.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and user stories.
  • Lead the product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of new features and improvements.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends in payment solutions
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and resolve any implementation challenges.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, using data-driven insights to inform product decisions and optimizations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on product status, roadmaps, and release plans.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements in all payment-related products.
  • Lead a team of onsite and off-shore Business Analyst, provide regular project status check-ins, progress tracking and updates on deliverables with stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in same industry/same role in insurance and finance industry, with a focus on payment solutions.
  • Strong understanding of payment processing systems, gateways, and related technologies.
  • Excellent knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
  • Knowledge of security standards and regulations related to payment processing (e.g., PCI DSS).
  • Certification in Scrum (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) is preferred.
  • Proficient in English.
