Sales Executive

JOB DUTIES

• Manages sales activities to deliver good service to customers and to achieve sales target.
• Approaches potential customers and conducts the sales presentation to sell insurance products.
• Builds and maintains customer relationship for future/long term business.
• Manages day to day sales and marketing activities, participates directly in sales to achieve sales targets.
• Maintains good relationship with clients to provide a professional and value adding service.
• Shares the products knowledge, selling and customer service experiences from time to time within the team.
• Reports weekly on sales activities.

JOB RESULTS:

• Achieves premium targets for each month, quarter, year
• Develops and increases a pipeline of potential customers to maximize selling opportunities.
• Ensures accurate customer data is available and up-to-date in the right systems for others that require access to customer data.
• Provides excellent customer service and brand awareness.
• Develops and maintains good relationships with other departments.
• Makes efficient and effective use of time in going out on sales calls.
• Leverages resources to get work done in a timely manner.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 2-year sales experience (vary up to the level of sales representative), previous general insurance sales experience would be advantageous
• The job holder needs to demonstrate a hunger to reach and exceed targets. A thorough and demonstrable understanding of the sales process.
