Account Payable Manager

Job Summary

Account payable manager is to supervise a team that processes the company’s expenses in an accurate, efficient and timely manner. This position reports directly to AVP Accounting & Finance.

Job Description

• Review payment transactions of head office and branches to ensure the correctness and consistent of accounting and tax law.
• Review and analyze monthly expense and accrued expense templates.
• Ensure payments are made accurately and on time.
• Supervise the day-to-day operation of the Account Payable team.
• Review and monitor monthly tax return forms and tax payments
• Review and make recommendations on expense policies and procedures
• Manage and control petty cash float and cash advance.
• Update a local financial authority as needed.
• Liaise with OIC/regulators for adhoc requirement
• Assist with audits and provide documentation and support as needed
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounts payable or related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with accounting software.
• Good command in English.
