Job Summary: 
As a key member of the Business Development Distribution team, the incumbent will report to the Team Lead of A&H, and will lead a team to manage and retain the Group & Individual A&H portfolio of the company in Hong Kong. The incumbent will have a major responsibility for managing the existing A&H portfolio to achieve the targets and goals ensuring all are tied to the Company’s Growth plan building a high level of producer engagement and relationship

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be the champion of the business and lead the growth engine of the business
  • Develop strategy to meet the business target
  • Promote and retain A&H Products including Group Life and Medical products (employee benefit) to corporate clients through Producers
  • Producer (broker/agent) engagement management
  • Handling daily quotation and renewal process, setting sales and negotiation on business journey especially major corporate accounts of Group Life and Medical products with our channels
  • Negotiate and lead the team to have a constructive discussion on how to close and secure the business within our targets
  • Provide quality services to producers with the aim of deepening penetration and achieving sales growth, extending the feasibility of the business share to all lines of business
  • Participate in enablers development, non-pricing actions and activities including events, product developments

Job Requirements:

  • University graduate major in Business Management/Marketing or related disciplines
  • Minimum 10 years of insurance distribution experience and at least 5 years experiences in sales management level
  • Holder of IIQE Paper 1, 2 & 3 is a must
  • Experience in dealing with brokers and agents in Employee Benefits is an advantage
  • Experience in Human Resources or agent sales is also considered
  • Excellent understanding product and distribution life cycles and market evolution.
  • Ability to drive the sales team to achieve the sales target and increase the profitability of the portfolio
  • Strong influencing skill and able to build credibility & partner with different stakeholders to drive sales strategies
  • Demonstrated facilitation, project management, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in Underwriting, Risk Management/ Product Management
  • Demonstrated ability to be highly collaborative and execute effectively across multiple functions and levels of the organization
  • With passion for driving change with a specific focus on delivering exceptional customer experience and results oriented approach
  • Ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders through strong leadership skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to lead the team to push the solution and progress
  • Have growth mindset that allows for continuous improvement of work process, tools or service delivery in a collaborative way that provides consistent innovation.
